The Reader in White - Original

The Reader in White is an original textile mosaic. This beautiful reader is made used a limited palette of white and cream with a splash of auburn for the hair. The fabric used is a mixture of cotton and vintage silk. The simplicity of the color is a purposeful choice acknowledging the serenity of the space in contrast to the individuality of the reader.

Sharon uses cotton and silk in various patterns and colors to create the finished art over her hand drawn sketch.  Each piece is sealed and will not fade or peel.  It is shipped ready to hang in a black, hardwood float frame.
