Parting The Red Sea is a textile mosaic.  The nude back of the woman draws you into the artwork. Literally your eyes follow her into the depths of the Red Sea. There is a marriage between the fabric layers of the water and the woman's skin that is amplified by the unexpected use of red.  It’s easy to lose yourself looking at this artwork.

Sharon uses cotton and silk in various patterns and colors to create the finished art over her hand drawn sketch.  Each piece is sealed and will not fade or peel.  It is shipped ready to hang in a black, hardwood float frame.
