Balcony Girls - Original

Balcony Girls is a 48 x 48 inch original textile mosaic. Relationships is a common theme throughout my work. Sisters? Friends ? The literal relationship is unimportant. There is freedom and joy in being together. The wind in their hair and the swim suits are symbolic of what we all wish we could experience when we lose ourselves in the moment with friends.  

Sharon uses cotton and silk in various patterns and colors to create the finished art over her hand drawn sketch.  Each piece is sealed and will not fade or peel.  It is shipped ready to hang in a black, hardwood float frame.
